Bread Pudding
One quart bread crumbs 3 cups milk 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 cup butter 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 salt 1 cup chopped
Heat the milk and pour it on the bread crumbs. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs,salt and vanilla. When the milk is cold, combine the two mixtures, and add the chopped lemon. Pour into a buttered mold and bake for 40 minutes. Serve with any sauce. Sufficient for 6 persons
