CUCUMBER SALAD
Ingredients:
one cucumber (large size)
one large onion
1/4 c white sugar
1/4 c white vinegar
peel the cuke, then gore slice very thin
slice the onion very thin
layer of each sprinkled with salt
press with heavy weight hour or more draining off the water a couple of times.
Add sugar & vinegar sour cream or sweet cream may be added
