Butch's Dumplings
Making a Chicken stew for super?
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbs. shorting
1 cup milk
Sift together flour,salt and baking powder. Cut in shorting with fork.Gradually add milk; mix smooth. Drop by tablespoons on hot stew. Cover tightly. Cook 10-12 min. without removing cover. Serves 4-6
